Outwide announces Notion.Net, a new generation enterprise content management system. Notion.Net is easy to use, yet scalable to large organisations managing multiple websites. Notion.Net builds on the success of the Notion platform, but has been completely re-written in Microsoft® .NET technology. Outwide worked extensively with its customers to develop Notion.Net to meet their requirements to manage business content with accuracy, security, performance, and accountability. Notion.Net extends Notion's already extensive range of capabilities (see www.notion.co.nz) in many areas, including:
High performance caching architecture The new caching architecture enables fast page delivery and scalability for the busiest websites. The Microsoft .NET implementation allows fast page creation and supports web farms of Microsoft IIS 5/6 web servers running under Windows Server 2000 or 2003.
Support for enterprise database servers Notion.Net supports SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005.
Architecture editor The new architecture editor allows content architectures to be created and changed with ease.
Flexible table editor The table editor makes editing large and complex tables possible. Tables with many columns and rows as well as mixed media tables with text, images and links are easy to manage.
Direct import from Microsoft® Word Content authors can import content directly from Microsoft Word. The import tool converts Microsoft Word documents to Notion.Net pages, including text, tables, links, and images.
Easy link management Adding links between content is easy with the new link navigator, which makes it quick and easy to find, add, and maintain links between content. Notion.Net is available now. Contact business@outwide.com to discuss how Notion.Net can benefit your organisation. |
